  • What is integrative psychiatry?

    • Integrative psychiatry is the practice of combining conventional or traditional medical treatments with complementary or non-traditional approaches. It is considered as a holistic approach (connecting mind and body) in addressing mental health issues. Complementary approaches may include nutraceuticals or supplements, mind-body practices (like meditation, mindfulness, yoga or tai chi), acupuncture, acupressure, reflexology, aromatherapy, etc.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    • My practice is cash-base. I am however currently credentialed through Headway with the following health insurances: Aetna, BCBS, Carelon Behavior Health, Cigna, Horizon BCBS, Independence Blue Cross, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford, Quest Behavioral Health, and UHC. Please contact your health insurance to verify coverage prior to making appointments.

  • Do you prescribe benzos?

    • I typically do not prescribe benzodiazepines (like Xanax, Ativan, etc.) in my practice.
