Hi, I’m Shiellah James
I’m a dual board-certified psychiatric-mental health and family nurse practitioner (PMHNP and FNP). Being dual-certified allows me to see the full picture of health, connecting mind and body in every treatment plan. With my background, I’ve come to understand how physical symptoms often reflect deeper emotional pain and unspoken struggles with stress, anxiety, or depression, which were often overlooked.
My journey began in the Philippines, where I trained as a nurse before immigrating to the U.S. with little more than determination and a sense of duty. That resilience shaped the way I care today: combining medical expertise with a holistic, patient-centered approach. I believe healing begins with truly listening, honoring the whole person, and uncovering the inner strengths we all carry. A treatment that is truly holistic, compassionate, and empowering which ultimately leads to restoring balance between mind and body.
